More about our Captains

Annie B will be in it’s 34th year in 2011. Captain Mike joined the Crew after his retirement. Captain Rick is his spare. The main reason for staying in Cape Cod Bay was the southerly winds on the Cape which means calmer waters for us, less sea sickness and fewer cancellations. The abundance of BASS and BLUES in the Bay are also pluses.

In 2007 the best News for the Annie B was that the Town of Dennis accepted our application for a slip at Sesuit Harbor which cut our running times to fishing in half. Example: 25 minutes from the Sesuit Dock means we are now fishing on the shoals where-as in Barnstable we were still in the harbor with 35 minutes still left to get to the shoals.

Many Parties are now thinking the 4hr, 5hr, and 6hr trips now instead of the longer 8 hours. We now have more fishing time on the water.
